I’m a “sharer” – that’s me, Once I get going, I want to keep going!
Writing has become a very cathartic experience for me as I continue to navigate my way through getting fit, staying fit, divorce, career transformations, finding love and getting married again, and overcoming health issues, and well… just life in general!
I’ve kept a journal for as long as I can remember so it seems very natural for me to write. I also am the type of person that likes to share and hear others stories to help me with whatever I’m gong through. I recall many times when I was going through my divorce that I found such comfort in not only talking with friends and others who were experiencing the same things I was going through, but I also found myself gravitating towards books, articles and blog posts of women who were sharing their own stories. Reading similar stories of others made me feel like I wasn’t alone even while I was literally sitting alone in my house most of the time.
It’s with that mindset and intention that I’m starting my blogging adventure as a Health and Fitness Coach! I’ve had sooooo many changes in the past 5 years. So many ups and downs and through it all, I have also had my successes and struggles with getting fit, staying fit, and everything in between. I want to combine my love of writing with my journey to get healthy, stay healthy, and be an example to my 2 Daughters as they learn how to take care of their bodies too.
I also have a HUGE passion to share my story with others with the intention of helping anyone who can relate to me and who is having trouble staying fit in their 40’s.
